Baseball card companies stepped up their games a few years back by adding a whole new dimension to collectibles. They started adding game-worn and game-used elements in the cards.
So if your favorite player was White Sox slugger Paul Konerko, you could actually get a card that had part of his bat or jersey right in the card.
The UFC has come out with a similar collectible. Now you can own an actual piece of the canvas from some of the biggest fights in UFC history. These UFC collectibles are actually more rare than the baseball ones, because baseball players use many different bats and jerseys.
But UFC champion Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche did battle just once and only on one piece of canvas, and now you can own a piece of it — straight from the Octagon. There are only 250 of these available, so it’s definitely a very rare collectible. Here’s a look at the UFC 157 Ronda Rousey vs. Liz Carmouche Mat Collectible.
Ronda Rousey Collectible
Each piece contains a piece of the canvas embedded in an acrylic holder, with the UFC logo etched into the front. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by UFC president Dana White.
There are currently two other mat collectibles at MMAWarehouse.com. We also have the UFC 160 Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio “Big Foot” Silva Mat Collectible and the UFC 162 Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman Mat Collectible.
These are really unique pieces of UFC history and there are only 250 pieces of this Ronda Rousey collectible. The Rousey vs. Carmouche piece is particularly unique because that featured the first ever women’s matchup in the UFC.
